Today we feature FCCLA member and state qualifier Brianna Fitzgerald. Brianna earned a perfect rating at regional straight to state judging. Her project category is Illustrated Talk, Jr. For her project she chose to focus on educating others about scoliosis, a condition she was diagnosed with in 6th grade and continues treatment for. Part of the project requirements are presenting the talk to 3 groups. Brianna presented her talk at Dayton Children's Hospital, the Personal Wellness class at JC as well the 7th grade classes. Her presentation involves her personal story, factual information on diagnosis, treatment and living with scoliosis. Many great visual aides are used to drive home the information. Congratulations on a job well done and best of luck at state competition!
