February 11 Announcements

Tonight’s concession stand workers for the high school girls varsity game are Mallory Nuss, Xavier Esser, Brianna Fitzgerald and Kieran Yarkosky. Please report no later than 5:45 and be ready to serve customers at that time.

It's Basketball Tournament Time! Presale tickets will be on sale in the school office during regular business hours, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday when school is in session. Tickets will also be available at our remaining High School home games. Tickets are $6 each. We will receive 50% back from our ticket sales.

Any high school girl interested in playing softball this spring needs to sign up outside Mrs. Davidson's room and pick up a schedule.

Need some extra spending cash? Are you interested in refereeing soccer? JCYSO needs your help. The local area has a big need for soccer referees. There will be a certification class Feb. 15 from 9am-3pm at Bath Community Center on Slabtown Rd. in Lima. The class also requires about four hours of online work. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Wiswell for details.

In honor of FCCLA week the following theme days will occur thru Tuesday, February 18. All are encouraged to participate!
• Today: Beach Day (must be school appropriate)
• Wednesday – 2/12: Red Out
• Thursday – 2/13: Hero Day
• Friday – 2/14: Crazy Orange and Black
• Tuesday – 2/18: Hat Day (this is the only day hats may be worn)
In addition to the theme days this week the FCCLA will be selling heart shaped suckers for 50 cents during grade 6-12 lunches.  

DI is looking for a few high school students to help judge Rising Stars at their upcoming tournament on Saturday February 22 at the Jackson Center School. If you are interested see Mrs. Suttan Barhorst for more information.

Attention seniors, this is a reminder that the Community Foundation Scholarship application must be submitted online by this Thursday, Feb. 13th and the JC Education Foundation Scholarship application is due to Mrs. Kohler by Friday, Feb. 14th.  Please see Mrs. Kohler if you have any questions.
