Announcements - April 29, 2025

FCCLA - Congratulations to the Jackson Center UVCC FCCLA members who participated in the State Leadership Competition this past week. ALL teams will advance to the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL this summer.

  • 1st place overall: Level 3-Professional Presentation – Avery Jackson
  • 1st Place Overall: Level 3 – Food Innovations – Cortney Copeland and Corinne York 
  • 1st place overall: Level 2 - National Program in Action- Kendall Hilbun
  • 1st place overall: Level 2 - Interpersonal Communications- Brooke Byrd and Laynee Shields
  • 2nd place overall: Level 2 - Chapter in Review Portfolio-Maycee Kipker, Samantha Metzger and Isabella Warner 
  • 1st Place Overall: Level 2 - Food Innovations-Krista Lyle and Kerstin Roberts 
  • 3rd place overall: Level 1 - Focus on Children- Hadley Jackson and Whitney York
  • 1st place overall: Level 1 - Chapter Service Portfolio- Avery Temme 
  • 1st place overall: Level 1- National Programs in Action- Julia Burch, Claire Morris and Lake Woolley

 

Lunches – Effective Thursday, May 1st students will be no longer be permitted to charge lunches for the rest of this school year. 

 

Prom – The Glass Slipper Fairies are still taking requests for assistance with a dress, shoes, jewelry, hair, nails, or make-up, just stop by the office and complete a form. 

 

Soccer - Attention 8th through 11th grade students! Are you interested in playing soccer next year? If so, please complete and submit the google form found in your student email by May 2nd. 

 

High School Field Day – Students in grades 9-12 please take time to answer the questions on the Family Feud Questionnaire that can be found on your Field Day Team's Google Classroom.  Currently Blue Toads have submitted the most forms.  Final answers are due by April 30th.

 

Yearbook  Last date to pre-order your 24-25 Yearbook is tomorrow, April 30th

 

Child Care – Any high school student interested in a summer job babysitting should sign up outside Mrs. Kohler’s office.

 

FFA Ag Fact - In Wisconsin, celery is in season from August to October.
