Announcements - January 13th

Seniors are reminded that the 4-H/FFA Scholarship application is due to either Mrs. Kohler or Mrs. Whetstone by this Friday, January 14th.  Please see either of them for the application.

This week has been designated as a Traffic Safety and Awareness week at Jackson Center Schools. Activities and contests have been planned in hopes to help our students remain safer as pedestrians, drivers, and passengers.

  •  Whether daytime, dawn, dusk, foul weather, or at night, you need to be seen by others while riding your bike. Wearing white has been shown to not make you more visible. Rather, you should always wear neon, fluorescent, or other bright colors when riding your bike day or night. You should also wear something that reflects light, such as reflective tape, markings, or flashing lights. Remember, just because you can see a driver doesn’t mean the driver can see you. 1st grade - 4th grade teachers please share the video link shared at the conclusion of this announcement.
